Investigative Reporter
I'm a Denver-based investigative journalist with 15 years of experience covering housing, public spending and private equity.
My work has exposed how investors profited off the wreckage of the housing crisis, exacerbating racial inequality and trapping renters in hellish conditions.
My bylines appear most often in The Colorado Sun, where I write about the state budget, the public pension and housing policy. I also edit and write stories for Mirror Indy. Previously, I covered state and local government for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Denver Post and The Indianapolis Star.
I took a brief hiatus from journalism during the pandemic, when I worked as a researcher and fiscal policy analyst for the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. I completed my master’s in public policy in 2021.
